Crave

 CRAVE

AV: Tracy Wolff  (2020)

If you mix Twilight, Vampire Diaries, After and Harry Potter you get CRAVE. This book has everything you could ever want and once you start reading you are hooked.

Maybe you think you can guess what will happen in the book, but you are probably wrong.

Grace's parents have died in a car accident and so she has to move to Alaska to live with her uncle and her cousin Mace. They live at a boarding school where Grace's uncle is the principal and the school is far out in the wilderness.

On the very first day, Grace escapes an assassination attempt with the help of a mysterious stranger who turns out to be a student at the school.  She has no idea that the incident is just the beginning of a shocking discovery where new dangers are constantly lurking in the shadows.

Drama, friendship, love and hate fight for space in this colorful book, where the environmental descriptions are absolutely unbeatable.

Some of the main characters:
Grace: a completely ordinary girl who had the misfortune of becoming an orphan. She is smart, strong and stubborn.
Macy: Grace's cousin who has dyed her hair pink and is overjoyed that Grace has come to live with them in Alaska.
Jaxon: the mysterious stranger who saves Grace's life and who will mean a lot to her. The other students at the school get out of the way when he comes walking down the hall and seem to obey him like submissive dogs.
Flint: Always as happy. Incredibly fit and unnaturally strong.

The world that Grace knows is about to change. There are things hidden from the outside world, but which for Grace in an unpredictable way become very real. When she really sees reality as it actually is, a whole new world opens up for her. A dangerous world to which she must adapt to if she wants to survive.

I've also read part 2 Crush and part 3 Covet and I will read Part 4 and 5 as soon as I get my hands on them.

I'm just saying - READ!!!
